Born in Rio and raised in England, Erica Bannwart embarked on her creative journey early with private art lessons from the age of 8 to 14. After graduating from IADE (School for Interior Design) in 1971, she moved to England in 1974 to explore new artistic opportunities. There, she began creating works of art, notably specializing in trompe-l’oeil paintings.

In 1985, she discovered Switzerland, where she further expanded her skills by engaging in the restoration of antique artworks and Old Masters. In 1995, she undertook artistic projects in collaboration with interior designers and private collectors, broadening her creative horizons.

In 2000, Erica Bannwart initiated the “Snow Motion” series, focusing on ski-related paintings. Currently, she resides and works in Zollikon, Switzerland, and can boast of a diverse and highly successful artistic career that reflects both her cultural diversity and her craftsmanship expertise.
